Ekin Can Göksoy is a writer and a storyteller currently based in Istanbul. Born in 1987 in Bursa, he took his BSc from METU Electrical-Electronics Engineering and his MA from Cultural Studies, Istanbul Bilgi University. He published his first collection of short stories Münhal in 2014 and his first novel Epope Tatavla in 2016 with İletişim Publications label. Working on and collaborating for verbal and nonverbal storytelling performances with Slobodan dan Paich, Director of Artship Foundation from San Francisco, USA since 2017, Göksoy took part in a series of performances, staged in Istanbul and San Francisco between 2017 and 2019. In 2018, his first exhibition A Chance for a Miracle, a collaboration with Larissa Araz, was opened in poşe art space in Istanbul. Active in film criticism, Göksoy has been writing film critiques and pieces on the history of cinema for FilmLoverss since 2015. Göksoy continues his PhD on urban history at Boğaziçi University History Department.
