Abel Korinsky studied at the University of Arts Berlin. Together with his twin brother he founded Studio Korinsky. Abel Korinsky comes from a strong fine art and also sound art background. Throughout his career, he has specialised in media art to widen his artistic horizon. He is interested in creating atmospheric and fluid imaginary worlds and play with the audience’s perception by employing various equipment and new technology to experiment with the human perception of sound. Studio Korinsky developed large scale installations in public space and presented audiovisual art internationally. The studio also presented works at Ars Electronica Linz, Melbourne Biennial, Grace Cathedral San Francisco, Art Museum Dnipro, Kestnergesellschaft Hanover, and Cathedral of Berlin.
