Abel Korinsky graduated from the University of Arts, Berlin. Together with his twin brother he founded Studio Korinsky. After a thorough education in the fields of fine art as well as sound art, he has widened his perspective by including media arts as part of his artistic practice. He is interested in creating atmospheric and fluid imaginary worlds, playing with the audience’s perception, experimenting with the human perception of sound with the help of various equipment and new technology. Studio Korinsky has developed large-scale installations in public places and presented audiovisual art to an international audience. The studio has also presented works at Ars Electronica (Linz), the Melbourne Biennial, the Grace Cathedral (San Francisco), Art Museum (Dnipro), Kestnergesellschaft (Hanover), and the Cathedral of Berlin.
