Vacancy in Digital Arts

Created in 2001, Le Cube is the first centre dedicated to digital creation in France and one of the most renowned in Europe. Located at the gates of Paris, in Issy les Moulineaux, this space highlights digital technology as a vector of empowerment. It explores and intersects the territories of digital creativity, social innovation and technologies. As a pioneer in the field of arts and new technologies, Le Cube leads a collective interdisciplinary reflection on the digital society and the meaning given to progress. As such, the structure has acquired real expertise and continues to explore new horizons towards an open, creative and inclusive digital society. Throughout the year, the Cube presents artists from the international scene, both young and experienced. At the head of a network of cultural creators, it has become a famous label that encourages multiple interdisciplinary collaborations. Thanks to its international reputation, Le Cube has brought together more than 3,000 artists from all over the world and its events are attended by many well-known personalities such as Jeremy Rifkin, Joseph Stiglitz or Etienne Klein.
Emerging artists from the fields of visual and digital arts, performative arts, or writers from France, Germany, the Netherlands and Turkey are invited to apply for the open call. The applicants are sought to have lived and worked the last three years in one of the partner countries and show proof of competence and enthusiasm in respective artistic fields. Eligible artists can apply to the open call by filing up the application form and submitting their portfolios between 20 March and 30 April 2019 (latest by 23.59 GMT+3). Participants will then be selected by an international committee.
